When I was about to give up on GameDev, Things happened.

I was competing but no longer. Never plan to repeat that again.

Feeling burnout is pretty normal. But this time, it lasted over a month. I just couldn't focus.

Felt sad because gamedev and marketing which I used to enjoy for 16 hours daily non-stop for the past 8 years became a chore.

I decided to make a change. Took some time off. I realized that I do still enjoy the process.

I felt a but envious of devs releasing "Too Many Titles" then, I realized that those titles were created by a team of two or more people. It is a bit unrealistic for a solo dev to accomplish that.

I decided to take a stand instead of running away and killing my dreams. Things have already started to change when I got out of the race of releasing too many titles and realized why I started this journey back in 2016.

It was because of LOVE, love for games.

Now, I will launch titles at my own pace. Work when I'm truly motivated and make some cool memories. Feeling a bit like "semi-retired" but that's absolutely fine now that I have time to other things.  <3
